Awakens
DAWN Awakens is a collection of spiritual/ metaphysical prose. This
work links together into Four Phases resulting in a human spiritual
transformation from awakening to a state of heightened awareness and
elevation. The poetry is written with a simplistic approach to complex
subject matter, the likes of DNA. Combining imagery and language
patterns, the collection emphasizes an almost-mystical approach to
personal and collective growth. It explores the relative complexities of
human nature and interaction, highlighting along the way qualities
relating to belief and love in various forms. References to nature and
the cosmos are interspersed placing the individual within what may be
viewed as a wider context of being.

Dawn
Marie Anderson was born in Sidney, New York and grew up in Oneonta. She
graduated from the Fashion Institute of Technology with a Bachelor of
Science Degree. She has worked in the Entertainment Industry and
Performing Arts as a dancer, singer, and an actress. Interest in healing
and metaphysics led her to become a Reiki Initiate and healer. She
currently lives and works in the arts in Los Angeles, California.
