Silas Linder Chronicles: Vinegar Hill

It seemed to Silas Linder that all men were born with a certain amount of evil inside them. Being able to control the evil, before the evil controlled you, was what determined a man’s nature. Some men let evil control their every action, and some men don’t know when they’ve gone too far. They have no respect for another man’s family or property. Silas thought of the Miller-Brown gang and knew they were evil. He planned to send them all to their maker. And anyone who stood in his way might find themselves on the wrong side of a coffin.

Silas was fueled by revenge; he lusted for revenge. He was not afraid to die. And he was not afraid to kill…again. The aftermath of what just happened was proof of that.

Barrett S. Lineberry

I was born and raised in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. I have lived in this area all of my life. I am married to my childhood sweetheart, and we have a beautiful daughter. My grandfather was a tobacco farmer and a great man. He and my father are the two greatest heroes of my life. I guess you could say I was fortunate to grow up living the “city life” but was able to stay grounded and humble by my country roots.
